Sound system duties include set up for the 
musicians and live stream. Rehearsals and practices are held 
during the week. It also includes monitoring the audio and video 
during the Sunday services. At times sound system personnel are 
needed for special events like weddings or VBS.

The cleaning ministry of the church is 
normally performed on Saturday. This ministry needs faithful 
people with an eye for detail.

Security personnel at the church have the 
responsibility of overseeing the safety and security of the church 
patrons during events. Requesting service in this area may require 
a background check.

Greeters are the first people visitors and regular church attenders see as they attend Sunday services. People who are friendly and gregarious make excellent greeters.

Ushers greet people during the Sunday services as they enter the Sanctuary. They make sure that church attenders are directed to open seating. They help hand out items during the services. During communion Sunday they may be asked to help prepare the communion elements.

Children’s ministry includes working in the 
nursery and teaching/helping in Sunday school. Requesting 
service in this area will require a background check.

The mission of CONNECTcare is to glorify 
God by ministering to and encouraging those in the congregation 
experiencing any of life’s transitional issues, such as the death of 
a loved one, childbirth, hospitalization or long-term care, illness, 
loss of job by way of phone calls, praying, sending cards, texts, 
emails, and visits.

Caring for the church grounds includes cutting 
the grass, edging and weed whacking. Normally this ministry is 
perform late in the week so that the facilities look nice on Sunday.

At times there will be families in need of 
meals. This may be due to illness or a death in the family. As a 
church we want to minister to those families.

Seeds of Hope carries out a variety of ministries to those in need in the city of Camden. A large part of the ministry involves men mentoring men who are getting established in society after coming out of prison, and women mentoring women who are trying to get off the street.

Repairs at the church could include painting, 
fixing electrical fixtures, fixing plumbing fixtures, etc…
